The Architectural Workshop studio is located in the historic Kendall farmhouse, built in 1857, it was restored in 1990 by the Richard Schramm, Architect, and is listed as a Michigan Historic Site, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Richard Schramm is a registered architect in Michigan, Indiana, and Florida servicing residential and commercial projects,  He believes that "Architecture is the Art of Building". To that end he approaches each project with the understanding that good design adds functional efficiency and esthetic quality to your building resulting in more value at lower cost for the Owner. As your architect he will advise you on the design and construction of your project. He will be your consultant & agent, obtain competitive bids for the work and administer the construction contract. His basic services can cover the entire project, including architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and the specifications of materials and equipment required. His experience includes over 850 projects from residential to various commercial projects.
